             13 Very Important Health Items

1.  How to extend your lifespan by an average of 14 years,
       at no cost
:

A respectable Research Study at the University of Cambridge, England, has come to this beneficial conclusion, by studying the habits of over 20,000 volunteers for several years, aged beyond 45-50 years, with regard to the following four habits:   

                      a.  Did not smoke

                 b.  Drank only one or two glasses of red wine per day

                 c.  Were physically active, or exercised daily
                 d. They ate five servings of fruit and vegetables per day 

 

Results: The smokers had the shortest longevity of all.

              The Fruit & Vegetable eaters had the longest longevity

              Most of the physically active and moderate wine drinkers
               reached to the extra 14-yr. age, or close to it.

 
I am also aware of a favorable cancer research study that excludes eating red meat!

 

2. Regarding Breast Cancer Prevention -- for both women and men
Certain deodorants have recently been confirmed as probably the most common causes of breast cancer.  This was started in a study in Europe of some 70,000+ women with breast cancer, most of which were initiated in the upper-lateral quadrant of the breast -- that is nearest to the armpit! 

It took a year to identify the culprit, Aluminum!

 

As most of you know, deodorants usually contain 2 substances, a deodorant, to kill the odor-producing bacteria; and a substance to stop the sweating, which most commonly is Aluminum, used to stop that, but is a most vicious cancer producer. 

 

What to do?  If you have any deodorant with Aluminum, discard it immediately and buy a deodorant that tells you in capital letters that it is "ALUMINUM FREE"

 

Personal History:

Many years ago, I instinctively suspected the use of Aluminum.  Instead, our family bought a deodorant called "Queen Helene Aloe" that has no Aluminum in it.  We have no financial interest in it and nobody in our family has ever had breast cancer! 

 

3. An Effective Indian Anti-cancer Substance
An Indian spice, TURMERIC, is one of the finest anti-cancer substances you can eat, with safety.  It is commonly found in Curries and in yellow mustards. 
Bought as an inexpensive powder, you may sprinkle it over your food. 

4. Excessive Caffeine Reduces Memory 

Please take note:  Recent studies have indicated that excessive use of Caffeine tends to interfere with memory, possibly early Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. Beware! 


5. Green Tea Reduces Alzheimer's & Parkinson’s Diseases &
    Prostate Cancer
Extensive research in both Israel and Holland have shown that green tea, brewed outside the bag, with the leaves chewed and swallowed; or, swallowed in capsules, lead to the reduction of Alzheimer's  -- a degenerative brain disease, with progressive memory loss. 
Six portions per day are recommended.

 

New Item:  It has just been discovered that Green Tea reduces the growth of Prostate Cancer and may even prevent it from forming, in the first place!

6. Bottled Plastic Water 

Do not allow plastic water bottles to stand exposed to sunshine, or in an overheated car.  The heat causes the plastic to leach into the water which, if drunk, may affect your hormones.


7. Sweet Bottled Drinks
. 

Avoid drinking sweet bottled drinks.  The sweeteners may have deleterious effects on your body, especially on the brain.

The worst sweet bottle drinks are to be found in “diet drinks”, since most contain the synthetic Aspartame, that has a degenerating effect on the brain.


8. Colon Cancer
 

Colon cancer is more common in women than in men.  The reason for this is thought to be the fact that women consume finer food than men do. 

Therefore, we advise women to improve their diets with rough foods, such as:  Nuts, seeds, popcorn, raw vegetables and fruits.


9. A Healthy Nut Snack
 

A study from Penn State University recommends a handful or two per day of pistachio nuts to help lower risk of Heart Disease, by lowering "bad" LDL cholesterol by as much as 12%. Also, this nut is loaded with fiber and antioxidants.


10. Cancer of the Cervix
 

Cancer of the cervix is thought to be mainly due to intercourse with an uncircumcised partner.  Thus, this disease is very rare among Jewish women, especially in Israel.

 

As a medical student in Johannesburg, we were told by our Christian Chairman of Gynecology that in his entire chairmanship at the University Hospital he had encountered only one Jewish woman with cervical cancer, but she was married to an uncircumcised Christian husband!
